In order to replace the brake pads of the Kawasaki Z900 RS, you need to loosen the screws that attach the brake calipers to the corresponding discs: once the fixing screws have been loosened, it will be possible to completely detach the caliper from the corresponding disc, also removing the pin that locks the pads inside. This way, the old pads can be completely removed in order to insert the new ones: these must be properly fixed and then the caliper must be positioned on the corresponding disc, making sure that the brakes work correctly.

To remove the final drive from a BMW R 1200 GS, loosen the bolts securing the exhaust so it can be removed along with the rear wheel. The rear wheel will also be removed by unscrewing the five bolts that secure it to the swingarm.
