In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the rear wheel on the Kawasaki Z1000, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, we lift the motorcycle with a stand, then we locate the ABS sensor cable, disconnect it and attach it to a support. We then unscrew the caliper fixing bolts, remove it, remove the two metal clips indicated and, with an 8mm hex key and a 12mm key, loosen both the central axle bolts and the two clamp bolts. We then loosen the chain tension, disconnect it from the sprocket, unscrew the axle bolts completely and remove the wheel.
