Oil Change for Royal Enfield Interceptor 650

Learn how to change the oil on the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650: first, remove the oil filler cap; then, go under the bike and remove the plug from the sump, collecting the used oil in a suitable container. Dispose of it at an authorised centre. Replace the gasket on the sump plug for added safety. Change the filter; this will also leak some oil; let it drain into the same container where you collected the engine oil. A 4-litre kit of synthetic oil SAE 10w40 and the filter costs £53.48 on Amazon, with free delivery. The gasket for the plug is also available separately, but for £0.18 for the gasket, they charge £9.95 for shipping on Auto-Doc, making it more economical to buy the kit with both plugs, lower and upper, each with its gasket, which costs £7.69 on Amazon, with free delivery. After refitting the plug and the filter, top up the oil using a funnel and close the cap. Job done.
