In order to replace the variator of the Sym Joymax 300 Evo, you need to loosen the screws that hold the transmission cover, located near the rear wheel on the left side of the motorcycle. Once the screws holding this cover have been loosened, it will be possible to completely remove it. This will allow access to the underlying components and it will be possible to remove the variator by loosening the central nut that holds it in place; after removal, it will be possible to insert a new replacement piece and reinsert the belt, making sure everything is functioning properly.
