First, unscrew the oil drain bolt using a 17 mm socket wrench: then finish unscrewing slowly and let all the oil drain into a container; wait about ten minutes before replacing the bolt. At this point, remove the spring and replace the filter attached to the cap; then reassemble everything and pour the new engine oil (10w40 type) into the designated upper hole: fill to the correct level (capacity of about 1L-1.2L)!

How to Reset the Engine Oil Light on a Yamaha XMax 250
