Today we will see how to remove and replace the battery of a Sym Joymax 300 scooter. First we are going to remove the side plastic covers, unscrewing the fixing screws, in order to access the right side battery compartment; after which we go to remove the fixing screw of the bracket and remove it. So let's disconnect the battery terminals, unscrewing the screws and first removing the negative pole, thus avoiding any short circuits. We just have to remove it and replace it with the new one, of the right type: now we just have to insert it and reassemble everything.

How do I replace the Sym Jet X 125 battery?

In order to replace the battery of the Sym Jet X 125 you need to remove the cover of the footrest compartment of the motorcycle, so that you can access the screws that fix the side panel. Once these screws have been loosened, it will be possible to access the components inside: the battery will be accessible after removing the plastic cover placed above it. In this way it will be possible to go and disconnect the power cables and remove it from inside its housing: after removal, the new one can be inserted, fitting all the removed components.
