To replace the air filter on the Kawasaki Versys 650, remove the bolts securing the side panels of the bike just below the fuel tank and the screws holding the seat. Once these components are removed, unscrew the bolts that secure the fuel tank to its housing, disconnecting various connectors as well. When the fuel tank is completely removed, you can access the filter box underneath, which must be opened so that the old air filter can be removed and replaced.
