How to replace the air filter on Kawasaki Versys 650?

In order to replace the Kawasaki Versys 650 air filter, you need to unscrew the bolts that secure the side panels of the bike immediately under the tank and the screws that secure the saddle. Once these components have been removed, it will be possible to unscrew the screws that secure the tank to its housing, also disconnecting various connectors. When the tank has been completely removed, you will be able to access the filter box below which will need to be opened so that the old air filter can be removed and replaced.

How to replace the air filter on Kawasaki Z1000?

In order to replace the Kawasaki Z1000 air filter you have to loosen the screws that fix the saddle, so that it can be completely removed from its housing. Once the saddle has been released, it will be possible to go and detach the side panels which are located immediately under the fuel tank, so that its fixing screws are visible. By unscrewing all these screws and disconnecting the tank connectors, it will be possible to remove the tank and access the filter box below. The piece can therefore be removed and replaced, and all the other components are also mounted.
