To change the engine oil in the Kawasaki KRX 1000, loosen the drain plug located at the central lower part of the vehicle: once the plug is removed, collect all the used oil in a suitably placed container. Then, proceed to remove the oil filter located on the left side of the bike, in front of the rear shock absorber; you can then top up the oil by inserting it into the designated breather behind the rear shock absorber.
