How to adjust the handbrake of the Kia Sportage

In the following article, we will illustrate the procedure for adjusting the handbrake of the Kia Sportage. To make the adjustment, a 10mm socket wrench will be necessary. First, you need to remove the storage compartment cover at the end of the central tunnel. Once the cover is removed, you will have access to the 2 10mm bolts, unscrew them and remove them. Now you need to remove the central tunnel, at this point you will have access to the handbrake adjustment bolt, adjust it, once adjusted, reinsert the tunnel into its housing and reinsert the bolts previously removed and then reinsert the cover. Now the procedure is complete and the handbrake will be adjusted.
