In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the gear shift knob in the KIA Sportage, an extremely simple and quick operation. First of all, let's go inside the cabin, then remove the cap with the inscription "SHIFT LOCK RELEASE", press the button just released and, at the same time, move the gear lever to the "N" position. Then release the base of the boot using a plastic spatula, grab the knob and, pulling upwards with force, separate it from the shaft. To reassemble everything, just follow the reverse procedure.
