Following today's instructions, learn how to remove and replace the gear knob of the automatic gear lever on the Kia Sportage. First, get inside the cabin and start by removing the plastic cover of the centre tunnel, disconnecting the electrical connector found underneath; then pull the gear knob upwards with force until it detaches completely (separating it from the gear gaiter), as shown in the video. At this point, install the new gear knob, securing it properly onto the lever; then reassemble the centre tunnel cover!

How to Open the Bonnet on the Lancia Y
