In this video, we will see how to change the gear knob of a Kia Sportage: first, we need to lift the boot, which we will have removed from its fasteners, by using a plastic spatula or a small screwdriver. Then, we unscrew the knob from the shaft (it is very practical that it is screwed on, but if we do not know this and try to pull it off, we will irreparably damage the threading). We can find the new one, for example, on AliExpress with the code 1005004638530997, priced at 20.59 euros, plus 1.15 euros for shipping. We screw the knob back in place, put the boot back in its fasteners, and the job is done.
