How to Change Spark Plugs on Kia Sportage (2.4L Engine)

In this video, we can see how to change the spark plugs on the Kia Sportage with a 2.4L engine. Open the bonnet and lift the engine cover, clean the area around the coils, remove the bolts that secure them, and gently pull them upwards. If you remove them all together, it's a good idea to number them to ensure you put them back in the correct place. Insert the 5/8" socket into the spark plug hole and unscrew it counterclockwise, then extract the spark plug: if it is black, the mixture is too rich; if it is white, the engine is too hot; if there is oil on the threads, there may be a leak from the seals. The correct colour is light brown. Apply some dielectric grease on the ceramic of the new spark plug, screw it in by hand, then use the torque wrench to tighten it to 18 Nm; reattach the coil and tighten the bolt, repeat for all cylinders. Replace the engine cover, and you're done.
