How to Reset the Service Light on a Kia Sportage MK5

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Kia Sportage MK5: get in the car and close the doors. Turn on the ignition, and on the left side of the steering wheel, look for the two horizontal arrow buttons. Press the right button several times until the "vehicle settings" option is highlighted, and confirm with the "ok" button. Using the up/down buttons on the right side of the steering wheel, scroll through the options vertically until you find the "service interval" option and confirm. You will see the remaining mileage until the next service: press "reset" and confirm with "ok". The system will ask for confirmation, to which you will respond "yes". Now the counter will show the mileage remaining until the next service, reset to the standard value, and the light on the dashboard will be gone. Press the "back" button several times to exit the menu.
