How to Remove the Rear Lights on a Kia Sportage

As we should do (to ensure the operator's safety) whenever performing any maintenance operation on a car, in this case, position your Kia Sportage on a lift or on a flat surface, so you can work on it safely and stably. Once done, open the tailgate of the boot and, using a small crowbar, pry around the perimeter of the cover between the light and the tailgate and remove it. Now, unscrew the two screws located underneath that secure the light unit in place using a screwdriver. Then, remove the unit from its housing, possibly using the screwdriver to help pry it out. Disconnect the electrical supply, and you're done!
