On the KIA Sorento, the fuel door may get stuck, for example, due to a problem with the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, you can still perform an emergency opening by following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial.

First, open the boot, then locate the small panel on the left wall, about halfway up, and unclip it. Next, grab the indicated cord and pull it towards you to manually unlock the lock. At this point, you can refuel or replace the damaged component.
