Operation: How to open the fuel door locked in the KIA Sorento?

In the KIA Sorento, it may happen that the fuel tank door gets stuck, for example due to a problem with the control button or the lock actuator. In these cases, we can perform the emergency opening following the simple procedure shown in this tutorial. Firstly, we open the trunk door, then we locate the small panel on the left wall and remove it using a small screwdriver with a flat tip. We then grab the cord and pull it towards us, in order to unlock the lock and be able to refuel.
