Changing the oil filter on a KTM Duke 200 is essential for maintaining optimal engine performance. Start by ensuring the bike is on a flat, stable surface, preferably using a stand to lift it. Before you begin, warm up the engine slightly, as hot oil flows more easily.

Then, turn off the bike and prepare a container to collect the used oil. Remove the drain plug and allow the oil to drain completely. After draining the oil, locate the oil filter, usually found on the side of the engine.

Use an oil filter wrench or a suitable plier to carefully unscrew the filter, as it may still contain oil. Before installing the new filter, it is advisable to smear a bit of new oil on the filter seal to ensure a better seal. Screw the new filter in by hand, ensuring it is secure but not overly tight to avoid damage.
