In order to replace the air filter of the KTM RC 390, you need to loosen the screws that secure the fuel tank to its housing: these screws will be located on the sides and bottom of the tank and can be accessed by removing the panels and the seat. Once all these components have been unscrewed, the tank can be removed from its seat, allowing you to detach it and access the underlying filter box: at this point, the air filter can be removed from its seat and replaced with a new one.
