In order to replace the air filter of the KTM 390 Adventure, you need to insert the key into the side lock of the seat, so that it can be completely removed from its housing. Once the seat has been removed, you can loosen the screws underneath that secure the cover of the air filter box: once the box is open, you can remove the air filter inside, in order to insert the new one. The new filter can be secured by inserting the cover and the seat.
