Changing the oil of a KTM Super Adventure 1290 engine requires attention and some simple steps. Start by warming up the engine for a few minutes, so that the oil becomes more fluid and easier to drain.

Next, place the motorcycle on a stable stand to prevent tilting. Place a container under the drain plug, located at the bottom of the engine, and unscrew it with the appropriate wrench.

Let it drain completely, making sure there are no residues left. Once the draining is complete, replace the plug, screwing it tightly to prevent leaks.

Finally, use a funnel to add the new oil recommended by the manufacturer, checking the level with the dipstick or sight glass. Make sure to start the engine for a few minutes and check that the level is correct, completing the operation.
