You can change the engine oil on a KTM 1290 Super Duke by loosening the drain plug located at the central lower part of the vehicle: once this plug is removed, you can proceed to let all the used oil flow into a suitably placed container. Once all the oil has drained out, you can also remove the oil filter located at this point, so you can top up later: you will need to pour the necessary amount of oil through the breather on the right side of the bike.
