As shown in this tutorial, replacing the spark plug on the KTM Duke 390 is an extremely simple and quick operation. To do this, in addition to the correct replacement part, you will need an M12 socket and a ratchet. First, wait for the engine to cool completely, then locate the spark plug connector above the cylinder head and disconnect it. Next, position the socket and gently turn it counterclockwise until the spark plug is loosened, which can then be removed by hand. Finally, fit the replacement and tighten it, avoiding excessive force.
