To replace the exhaust on a KTM EXC 300, loosen the screws that secure the front part of the exhaust pipe: these screws are located on the side and front of the bike, just behind the front wheel. Once all these screws are loosened, you can remove the pipe and then loosen the screws that secure the silencer at the rear. When this is also freed from its housing, you can insert the new one, securing it with the respective screws on the mounts and connecting it to the new exhaust pipe.
