To replace the front headlamp on the KTM EXC, use a tool to lever the headlamp out of its housing: once the headlamp is detached, disconnect the internal connectors so that the optical unit can be fully removed. Now, unscrew the screws securing the front fairing around the headlamp, allowing it to be fitted onto the new replacement optical unit; after replacement, secure the new headlamp and connect the connectors appropriately.
