Let's see how to replace the air filter on the KTM Duke. Place the bike on a stand, remove the passenger seat by unlocking the key lock. Once removed, you can also take off the rider's seat to access the air filter cover. Using a cross screwdriver, unscrew the six screws securing the cover and remove it. To remove the old filter element, operate the two levers that hold it in place. Replace the filter with a new one; you might take the opportunity to install a more open model that can improve engine airflow, securing it with the tabs. Close the cover and secure it with the six screws, then reposition the two seats. If installing a freer filter, run the engine for about ten minutes to allow the ECU to adjust to the new installation.
