To replace the air filter on the KTM Duke 790, completely remove the seat from its housing. To do this, detach the upper panel of the rear mudguard so that the underlying fixing screws can be loosened to remove the seat from its place. Once all screws are removed, you can detach the seat from its housing to insert the new one; this should now be secured with the appropriate screws, then cover everything with the corresponding mudguard panel.
