How to Change the Engine Oil on a KTM DUKE 790

To change the engine oil on a KTM Duke 790, start by warming up the engine for a few minutes to improve the oil's fluidity. Position the bike on a centre stand for greater stability.

Locate the oil drain plug, usually found on the underside of the engine. Use an appropriate spanner to unscrew the drain plug and allow the used oil to fully drain into a suitable container.

Once the drainage is complete, securely reattach the drain plug. Next, find the oil filler cap, typically located on one side of the engine.

Remove the cap and use a funnel to slowly pour in the recommended amount of new oil, following the specifications in the owner's manual. Ensure you do not exceed the maximum level.

After filling with new oil, securely reattach the filler cap. Start the engine for a few minutes and check for any oil leaks. This process ensures that the engine oil is properly replaced in your KTM Duke 790, keeping the engine in optimal condition.
