To replace the speedometer cable on the Kymco New Dink, loosen the screws that secure the front fairing of the scooter to its housing: you will need to unscrew the screws located just below the windscreen and also those found directly in front of the footrest area.

This will allow you to completely detach the panel and access the components underneath: the speedometer cable can then be identified and removed from its housing.

The new replacement part can then be inserted, ensuring everything functions correctly.
