In this tutorial, we will see how to replace the air filter on the Kymco AK 550 scooter, a very simple and quick operation to be performed every 1,000 miles. First, open the two internal glove compartments, then unscrew all the indicated screws using a cross-head screwdriver and remove the panel. Next, open the airbox cover by unscrewing the additional four screws, extract the old filter from its housing, and clean the housing of any dirt residue. At this point, simply insert the replacement and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
