To replace the battery on the motorcycle it is necessary to proceed as follows: the battery is positioned inside the compartment under the saddle, so to access it it is necessary to lift the saddle itself. The battery is placed right in correspondence with the tail of the motorcycle and its housing compartment is protected by a plastic casing which must be removed. Therefore disconnect first the negative pole terminal and then the positive one. Take the new battery and place it in the housing, then proceed to reconnect first the positive pole and finally the negative one. Reposition the casing and close the saddle.

Today we will discover the step-by-step instructions to carry out the routine maintenance service of the oil change on the Kymco Xciting 400i scooter, following these simple steps. First of all we put the central stand to our scooter and we start by removing the oil vent bolt that we find under the engine, using a 17 mm socket wrench; then let the oil drain in a container for about ten minutes. At this point we unscrew the oil filter cover screw, using a 24 mm socket wrench; let's replace the filter with the new one and pour in the new oil!
