In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the rear brake pads on the Kymco AK 550 scooter, a very simple and quick operation. First, position yourself in front of the brake in question, then loosen the lower bolt using an 8mm hex key, and with a 14mm socket, unscrew the two mounting bolts of the caliper.

Next, separate the caliper from the frame, remove the previously loosened pin, and take out the old pads. At this point, clean any dirt residue, fit the new parts, and reassemble everything.
