Remote Key Battery Replacement

To replace the battery in the remote key, it is not necessary to open the shells; simply flip out the metal key (the so-called blade) and access the battery compartment located at the centre of the key, along the line where the two shells meet; use a small flathead screwdriver to turn the screw that secures the battery compartment and extract the holder, remove the old battery, clean the metal contacts of any oxidation residues, and insert the new battery respecting the polarity; then insert the battery back into the remote and secure it with the screwdriver.
