How do you replace the battery on a Lancia Delta? This guide explains how to remove the battery. Open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, then lift the front bonnet, releasing the catch with your fingers. Secure the bonnet with the prop rod. Once the engine compartment is open, you will find the battery on the right side. Start by loosening the battery terminal bolts with a socket wrench and disconnect the securing plate (if present). Remove the old battery and install a new one, tightening the power terminals. Close the battery compartment and shut the engine cover.
