How to Change the Door Latch on a Lancia Ypsilon

If you need to replace the door latch on your vehicle, refer to the instructions below: park the car on a flat surface so that the door can stay open and does not close on its own during the work. Proceed to unscrew the Torx screws securing both the door and the vehicle frame.

Then, remove the screws around the door panel, take off the cover behind the mirror fixing pin, remove the screws located under the trim of the opening handle, take out the electric window switch and disconnect the connector, then remove the entire panel by prying along the edges.

Finally, remove the speaker and insert your arm through the hole to pull out the latch from the door.
