For this maintenance, simply unscrew the lower screw of the gear cover (8 mm screw), as shown in the video. The gear selector needs greasing, so if there is little left, add some as it won’t hurt. If there is none at all, be generous. While you’re at it, check that the two cable clamps are securely fastened. Ideally, use high-temperature grease, but normal grease will also suffice as it rarely reaches high temperatures in the selector. When the gear becomes stiff, repeat this maintenance. Clean the cover of the casing and refit it.
