Maintenance of the Gear Selector on Lml Star

Model: Lml Star
Part: Transmission

Video tutorial

For this maintenance, simply unscrew the lower screw of the gear cover (8 mm screw), as shown in the video. The gear selector needs greasing, so if there is little left, add some as it won’t hurt.

If there is none at all, be generous. While you’re at it, check that the two cable clamps are securely fastened.

Ideally, use high-temperature grease, but normal grease will also suffice as it rarely reaches high temperatures in the selector. When the gear becomes stiff, repeat this maintenance.

Clean the cover of the casing and refit it.

How to Replace the Exhaust on a MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR?

To replace the exhaust on a MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR, loosen the screws that secure the exhaust terminal to its housing on the right side of the bike near the rear wheel: once the fixing screws are loosened, you can widen the connecting ring between the exhaust and the collector. This will allow the terminal to be completely removed from its seat so that you can insert the new one: after positioning the new exhaust, secure it and check that everything works.
