To replace the timing chain on the LML Star, you need to remove the engine from its housing after loosening the mounting bolts. Once the engine is extracted, bring the piston to the top dead centre and loosen the screws that secure the cover on the right side of the engine, under which the clutch is located. The clutch can then be removed from its housing, and you should also loosen the nuts that secure the sprockets of the crankshaft and camshaft. This will reduce the tension on the chain, allowing you to remove it and replace it with a new one.
