If you want to replace the battery on this vehicle model DIY-style, follow the procedures outlined below. First, open the hood and remove the fastening nuts of the metal crossbar that secures the battery to the engine compartment. Then disconnect the negative terminal first, followed by the positive terminal, and remove the battery to replace it with the new one. Reconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal, and finally resecure the fastening nuts of the upper metal crossbar.
