How to Change the Engine Oil on a Maxus Camper

If you plan to change the engine oil and its filter yourself, follow these instructions for your vehicle: Open the hood and unscrew the oil filler cap. Lift the vehicle and locate the oil drain plug. Unscrew it and place an oil catch pan underneath to collect the used oil, waiting for it to fully drain. Then, replace the oil drain plug and return to the engine bay to locate and unscrew the oil filter. Obtain a new filter, replace the filter cap gasket, and reinstall it. At this point, you can add new oil and check the level with the dipstick, which should be between the minimum and maximum marks.
