If the car is equipped with a sports-type engine air filter, it is made of cotton fibres wrapped in a special metal mesh; this type of filter allows for an increase in the amount of air drawn into the engine, resulting in a noticeable performance boost.

In addition to performance, it is important to note that this type of filter should not be replaced but cleaned with the appropriate cleaner, with the sole recommendation of not using compressed air. Once the filter is removed, remove dirt residues with a brush, then apply the specific cleaner and rinse it with water, allowing it to dry. Once dry, spray the appropriate oil to help trap dirt.
