The video shows how it is possible to intervene quickly and easily to manually disassemble the part of the dashboard that houses the speedometer and the on-board instrumentation. To begin with, it is necessary to leverage the end that divides the instrumentation from the plastic support of the dashboard by letting the block enclosing the instruments come out of its seat. You then proceed by disconnecting the power plug in order to be able to carry out the necessary repairs in complete safety without the risk of causing a short circuit in the system. Once the repair is complete, reassembly is carried out, with the consequent reconnection of the power supply, simply by pushing the instrumentation into its original location. The video refers to a Mercedes C-class from 1997.

How do you replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
