How to Remove the Bushings from a Mercedes S-Class Stabilizer Bar

Model: Mercedes Classe S MK 4, W220 - Years 1999-2005

In this video, see how to disassemble a stabilizer bar and replace the bushing on a Mercedes C-Class. Position your car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height for work. Remove the bolts with a socket wrench or air drill and take off the wheel. Next, start unscrewing the bolts of the control arm with a socket wrench. Remove the bolts located under the plate that holds the stabilizer bar, then pull the bushing off the bar by hand. Install the new bushing onto the stabilizer bar, then begin to reinstall it. Mount the stabilizer bar with all the attached bolts, and tighten the support to the wheel hub. Finally, reinstall the wheel with the bolts.
