Replacement of Silent Block Bushes on Suspension Wishbone

When the silent block bushes of the suspension wishbones fail, various noises can be heard in the cabin, especially when driving over rough surfaces: the failure of the rubber part can no longer dampen and absorb vibrations. In these cases, you can choose to replace the entire wishbone or regenerate it by only replacing the bushes. In either case, lift the vehicle and remove the front wheel. Then, proceed to remove the fastening bolts of the wishbone; it is advisable to completely detach it to replace the bushes on a workbench. However, if you want to avoid this, support the suspension with a jack and lower the bush seat to extract the old one by making a cut with a hacksaw blade. Once the old bush is removed, insert the new one using a hammer and reinstall the wishbone.
