Replacing the Car Control Arm

The suspension arm of the car connects the chassis to the struts. However, it can wear out over time or due to impacts, and a faulty arm can lead to a loss of vehicle control. Replacing it yourself is not overly complicated and can save you a considerable amount of money. The following guide shows you how to do it. Lift the car with a jack, then remove the wheel by unscrewing the bolts. Disconnect the stabiliser link from the arm using two spanners. The arm, which is in front of you, is secured with bolts; once these are removed, it can be replaced.
