How do you reset the Service indicator light on the Mercedes E-Class?

The Service indicator that is shown on the instrument panel of the Mercedes E-Class can be reset by inserting the key into the ignition switch and then turning on the instrument panel with the appropriate button. Then, using the buttons located on the right side of the steering wheel, you can navigate through the menu on the instrument panel: you will need to select the "ASSYST PLUS" option and then the "Service" option. To reset the indicator, you will now need to select "Confirm service": this way you will be able to return to the initial screen, noticing that the indicator will disappear from the display.
