How to Reset the Service Light on a Mercedes E-Class?

To reset the Service light on a Mercedes E-Class, insert the key into the ignition switch and turn on the instrument cluster using the appropriate button. Then, using the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel, navigate through the menu on the instrument cluster: select "ASSYST PLUS" and then select "Service." To reset the light, the last option to select will be "Confirm service": this will allow you to return to the main screen, confirming that the light has been successfully reset.
