How to replace the front passenger presence sensor of the Mercedes A-Class

Model: Mercedes Classe A W176 - Years 2012-2018

In this guide we will discover the steps related to disassembling and replacing the front passenger presence sensor of the Mercedes Classe A. First of all, we get on board the car and start moving the front seat back; then we disconnect the electrical connector and remove the passenger presence sensor, replacing it with the new original one, as shown in the video. At this point, we verify the correct functioning of the sensor, checking the operation of the airbag (the light should turn off when a person is present, thus enabling the airbag); we reset the warning light with diagnostic software if present.
