The bulbs of the interior ceiling lights are generally the T11 C5W (36 mm or 39 mm), or the so-called torpedo bulbs and can be replaced with LED ones. It is advisable to choose led bulbs with resistance included to prevent the on-board computer from turning on the anomaly warning light. To replace the bulbs of the front ceiling light, simply unhook the cover of the ceiling light with a finger, remove the old light bulb and insert the new LED: if just inserted the new light bulb does not light up, try to rotate it 180Â ° to reverse the polarity. Inside the rear hood, it is possible to install an external LED lamp and power it from the original lamp holder (lever sideways with a screwdriver to release it). Finally, to remove the central passenger compartment ceiling light, simply lever with a fixed medium-sized screwdriver in the slot on the side.

In order to replace the battery of the BMW R 1250 GS it is necessary to loosen the bolts that secure the casing positioned on the left side of the bike, so that its cover can be removed. Once this has been removed, you will be able to access the components below, including the battery. The latter must be removed from its housing by disconnecting the power cables and unscrewing the appropriate fixing bolts. In this way it will be possible to insert a new battery, properly fixing it and connecting it to the relative cables, covering everything with the casing.
