Manual Reset of the SERVICE Indicator

Model: Mercedes Glk MK 1 - Years 2008-2015
Part: Service warning light

Manual reset of the SERVICE indicator (next maintenance): to perform this operation, the indicator must be on, and you will use the buttons located on the two side spokes of the steering wheel.

1. Insert the ignition key and turn to position 1 to display the odometer.
2. Press the button indicating the "left arrow" multiple times until the TRIP option is highlighted.
3. Press and hold the "phone receiver" button and within 1 second also press the "OK" button, keeping both pressed for 5 seconds to display the menu.
4. Press the "down arrow" repeatedly until the ASSYST PLUS message is highlighted and confirm with "OK": the SERVICE DATA and FULL SERVICE options will be displayed.
5. Press the "down arrow" to highlight FULL SERVICE and confirm with "OK".
6. Press the "down arrow" until CONF. FULL SERV. is highlighted and confirm with "OK": the display will show SERVICE CARRIED OUT? (Service completed?).
7. Press the "down arrow" to select YES and confirm with "OK": the display will show CANNOT BE UNDONE.
8. Press the "down arrow" until CONFIRM is highlighted and confirm with the "OK" button: the display will show FULL SERVICE CARRIED OUT.
9. Confirm with the "OK" button.
