How to Remove the Electromechanical Box on a Mercedes A-Class

Let's see how to remove the electromechanical box on a Mercedes A-Class. Open and lift the hood, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the plastic soundproofing panel covering the engine; take out the air intake box from the engine compartment. Disconnect the various power connectors from the electromechanical box, then unscrew it using a suitable wrench or socket. Once you have removed the control unit, compare it with the new part. Install the new control unit with the appropriate wrench and reconnect the power connectors. Finally, reinstall the engine soundproofing cover and all the removed parts.
